Terms of Service

Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Wyrefront service ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
Provision of service
Wyrefront provides a multi-tenant document-intelligence platform delivered as software-as-a-service. Service availability, support windows, and disaster recovery objectives are described in our Security & Trust page and incorporated by reference. Specific Service Level commitments may be provided to enterprise customers under a separate written order form.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service: (a) to upload content you do not have the right to use; (b) to upload, generate, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing material; (c) to attempt to break authentication or authorisation controls; (d) to send spam or unsolicited communications; (e) to interfere with the operation of the Service or other tenants; (f) to circumvent rate limits or per-tier quotas; (g) to reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these conditions while we investigate.
Your content
Documents and other content you upload remain your property and that of your tenant. You grant Wyrefront a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service. We do not train AI models on customer content. Documents are stored only for the purpose of indexing, retrieval, and answering queries on your behalf, and are deleted on account closure as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis in NZD ex GST. GST is added at checkout for NZ customers; tax in other jurisdictions is added per applicable law. New accounts receive a 30-day free trial; converting to a paid plan locks the then-current price for the term you select. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or AU Consumer Law. Pricing changes apply at the next renewal and are notified at least 30 days in advance.
Closure and data export
You may close your account at any time via Settings → Account → Close account. A 30-day grace period applies during which closure can be reversed. After the grace cliff fires, documents and content are hard- deleted within a further reasonable period. Tenant-admins may export tenant-scoped data at any time via Settings → Account → Export my data. Our retention practices are described in the Privacy Policy and incorporated here by reference.
Confidentiality and security
We will treat your content as confidential and apply the security controls described in our Security & Trust page. You agree to: keep your authentication credentials secure; promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorised access; comply with the multi-factor authentication requirement for tenant-admin accounts where your tenant has opted in; and not share user accounts between individuals.
Warranties and disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no representation that AI-generated answers are free from error. Customers must verify AI-generated output before relying on it for decisions with legal, financial, medical, or safety implications. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable warranty owed under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or AU Consumer Law where applicable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wyrefront's aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability. We exclude liability for indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data, except where such exclusion is not permitted by NZ or AU law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. For AU customers, nothing in this clause derogates from rights you have under AU Consumer Law.
Changes
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to the tenant-admin email on file at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
